Twilight Sparkle Bed

Well, summer's almost over and i've had my fun, so it's time to get cracking on drafting up some stuff for the Twilight Sparkle bed. I'm stoked to hit the ground running on this project, so I have to be prepared.
What mattress size should I use? I'm thinking either Full or Queen, since most people were put off by the size of the mattress last time I made a bed. I'm calling it now though, when and if I make it queen size, people will say I should have made it twin.
If everything goes smoothly, This bed should be done exponentially faster than Rainbow Dash's.
I wonder if I should make it out of Maple or Alder...

SOLD! For two grand. Me and a buyer worked everything out and got it sold~
I will be making another bed next year, and I am going to be open for commissions, but I need to work out all the details, pricing, and general information for that.
